Office Assistant assists with financial, data management, marketing and customer service aspects of the camp office. Office Assistants are responsible for completing daily tasks and assignments individually and in a team setting while providing consistent customer service and contributing to the smooth operation of the camp.
This is a 40 hour/week seasonal position with potential for part time extension through the year. Part-time extension to include office work with additional hours available for rental/special event promotion/planning/hosting during the off season months.
Food Service Director:
Manage the camp kitchen and dining hall. This includes creating the weekly menu, ordering food and supplies, supervising Kitchen Assistants and ensuring all health codes are met. The Food Service Director is ultimately responsible for the smooth, clean and high-quality operation of the food service provided to our guests. This is a full-time position, May through October, with various opportunities in the off season for part-time work.
Health Care Provider:
Provide health care to camp's summer campers and staff, including the dispensing of prescription medications, first aid and emergency response. The Health Care Provider ("Camp Nurse") assists during camp Check-In and Check-Out, communicating with parents, campers and staff. This person also manages the supply levels in the Health Lodge. This position is scheduled by the week in June, July and August. Willingness to stay at camp overnight (Sunday evening through Saturday morning) is preferred.
Help prepare meals and snacks for camp guests, maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Kitchen Assistants usually work a 12-hour day, 7:00am-7:00pm, which includes a 2-hour break mid-day. Scheduling is flexible, May through October.
Facilities Cleaning Crew:
Provide daily routine cleaning detail of camp restrooms and common areas and other areas as assigned. The Facilities Cleaning Crew ensures bathroom products are stocked at all times and that facilities are routinely kept sanitary for our guests. These employees typically work 2-3 hours a day, although some days may require more time. Scheduling is flexible, May through October.
